La Bella Vernice Review!

I am super excited to receive two gorgeous polishes to review from La Bella Vernice!  La Bella Vernice is a brand new Indie nail polish brand.  Let me tell you just how beautiful these polishes are!  They came with a hand written thank you note.  How cute is that?!  It is always special when you get something from the heart saying "thanks"!

First we have London from the "Best Friends" collection / La Bella Ragazze collection!    London is a strawberry colored scattered holographic polish and it's just beautiful.  I used 3 coats and Revlon Extra Life No Chip Top Coat (because I lack a quality top coat at this time).   I just LOVE the sparkle in this polish, my mother in law likes it too!

Next we have Ariel is from the "It's a Girls World" collection.  Ariel is a duo chrome polish with beautiful deep blue / green colors.  It's very hard to get pictures of both of the colors, so I got the best I could! LOL  I used 3 coats with Revlon Extra Life No Chip Top Coat (again because I lack a quality top coat).  I can't stop staring at this polish.  I seem to find a new color every time I look!

You can find La Bella Vernice on Facebook and on her website: http://bellavernice.com

This is definitely an indie brand I would purchase from again and again.

Xoxo,

Musical Notes Mani

I've been wanting to try music note nails for a while. I'm still pretty new at nail art, but if you saw my first art mani, you'd definitely be able to tell my improvement. This mani still needs tweaking. I am a HUGE music fan, my favorite band being Blue October.  Yes, you may call me a little obsessed.

Of course the base color is one of my favorites, Blue.  I used Sinful Colors "Sugar Rush", which is a beautiful pastel cream color. It looks perfect with 2 coats!  Next I used one of my art brushes to make the horizontal lines. Of course I did this mani way late at night  and my "old lady eyes" aren't so good. Lol. I used a few other swatch pix for guidance on the actual notes, which I learned later that I needed to use a thinner brush! Next time, I'm sure I will nail it!

My pointer finger turned out the best, in my opinion...

Hope you like them!

Kiss Nail Dress Product Review

I received some Kiss® Nail Dress™ nail shields to try out from Influenster in my Holiday Vox Box a few months ago.  KISS is a global brand, with products including nail care, cosmetics, appliance, hair care, and salon & spa equipment.

At first I was nervous, as a jewelry designer, I am very hard on my hands & nails. I really wasn't sure if they would last the 10 days promised.  I was pleasantly surprised! They were very easy to apply, the directions were perfect.  And don’t forget about your feet! Nail Dress looks awesome on toes, too – just use the square side of the sticker for a perfect fit.

The design I received was a little flashy for me, but not too bad. They were also easy to take off.  I use pure acetone for my nails and they just peeled right off!  I definitely would purchase Kiss Nails again!  Kiss Nail Dress’ suggested retail is $6.99 and is available in all major drug chains and mass retailers like WalMart, CVS and Walgreens. Visit KissNailDress.com to learn more!

*I received these products complimentary for testing purposes from Influenster.
